The Med-Surg/Telemetry Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions, many requiring cardiac monitoring. This role involves continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities include monitoring vital signs and telemetry readings, administering medications and treatments, coordinating care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, documenting patient progress, and educating patients and families. The nurse must be proficient in recognizing cardiac rhythms, managing post-operative patients, and responding promptly to changes in patient conditions.

Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. Compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines is required.
