Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring an RN for the Med Surg/Specialties Unit on the night shift. The unit cares for a wide range of diagnoses and offers self-scheduling and a comprehensive Nurse Residency program for new grads.

A generous sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and moving allowance are available for qualified candidates. Minimum requirements include Virginia or Compact Multi-State License, BLS, and RN credentials (Diploma/ASN/BSN/MSN).

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• RN-Diploma, ASN, BSN or MSN from an accredited school.
• New Graduate Nurses are welcome; Nurse Residency program available.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the Med Surg/Specialties Unit.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including telemetry and wound care.
• Participate in the Nurse Residency and Transition to Practice programs.
