Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN Med/Surg. The role involves providing professional nursing care to a diverse patient population, conducting assessments, and supporting exams and treatment.

The RN will collaborate with physicians and the interprofessional team to ensure compassionate, efficient, high-quality care and positive patient outcomes. Leadership activities may include charge nurse or preceptor duties and participation in governance

Formación

• Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section
• Two years registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional nursing care to a diverse patient population; conduct nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and interprofessional health care team to facilitate, coordinate and maintain compassionate, efficient, quality care and achievement of desired treatment outcomes
• Demonstrate clinical competence when providing care, using technology, administering medications, performing procedures and managing emergencies
• Assume leadership roles with progressive responsibility including participating in or leading unit and shared governance initiatives, serving as charge nurse or preceptor to students or new employees, and possibly contributing to service line or hospital-wide initiatives in partnership with management
