Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside in Columbus, GA is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while adhering to organizational policies and standards.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure and BCLS; a degree from an accredited nursing school is required with a Bachelor’s preferred. New graduates are welcome; hospital-based experience is a plus but not required for entry.

Responsibilities:

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
