Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside in Georgia is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive care from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the health team.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Georgia, current BCLS certification, and demonstrates accountability to standards of practice while contributing to quality patient outcomes within Piedmont's policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Work Experience

• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
