Overview

The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing the nursing process based on expanded knowledge and experience. The nurse provides age-appropriate patient care for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, addressing biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients and their families. The role includes critical care responsibilities such as continuous cardiac monitoring, emergency care management, IV infusion, ventilator management, invasive line management, and assisting with patient activities of daily living (ADLs).

The qualified candidate will possess the following:

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
2. Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
3. Licensure/Certification: Licensed Registered Nurse in Georgia or Alabama, depending on job location; ACLS and BCLS certifications.
4. Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; commitment to customer service; effective communication across all age groups; ability to work well with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
