Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions in Williamsport, PA is hiring an RN for Med Surg – Pediatrics to provide patient-centered nursing care for pediatric and adult medical-surgical patients. You will develop and implement individualized care plans in partnership with patients and families, addressing clinical, psychosocial, safety, and spiritual needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in PA or multistate license through compact (NLC) preferred.
• BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 clearances with renewal.
• Experience in pediatric medical-surgical care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care for pediatric and adult medical-surgical patients.

RN - Med Surg - Pediatrics

Address: Williamsport, PA

Provide patient-centered nursing care for pediatric and adult medical-surgical patients, demonstrating clinical expertise and accountability. Develop and implement individualized care plans in partnership with patients and families, addressing clinical, psychosocial, safety, and spiritual needs. Apply the nursing process within Relationship-Based Care to promote a healing environment. Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team regarding patient conditions, care plans, and recommendations. Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation to ensure continuity of care.

Critical Information

• Shift/hours: 0645-1915 or 1845-0715
• Schedule: Days, Mids, Nights, with rotation
• Remote/on-site/hybrid: On-site
• Environment: Clinical healthcare setting
• No call requirement; every other weekend working

Education/Licenses Needed

• Current RN licensure in the state or multistate license through NLC
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 clearances with renewal
