Job summary

Advocate Health's Aurora Medical Center - Kenosha is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Med Surg 2, a unit specializing in adult medical-surgical care and pediatrics with selective cases. The role is part-time, 24 hours per week, two 12-hour day shifts (0700-1930), with weekend and holiday rotation.

RNs must have Wisconsin license, BLS, ACLS/NIHSS before orientation, EKG within three months, and pediatric cross-training within six months.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program and Wisconsin RN license.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and NIHSS before orientation.
• EKG within three months of hire.
• Pediatric cross-training within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
