Job summary

Kettering Health Network's Troy campus seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift. You will deliver patient-centered care across diverse settings, coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure safety, quality, and continuity of care.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) and an Ohio RN license; BLS certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days. We value strong assessment, documentation, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current, valid RN license in Ohio; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans with patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Educate patients and families on conditions, plans, and medications.
• Monitor responses and adjust care plans as needed for outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to coordinate care.
• Advocate for patient rights and culturally competent care.
• Maintain compliance with policies, regulations, and accreditation.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and infection control.
