Job summary

Gadsden Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care across the nursing process in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include assessments, planning, implementing and evaluating care, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes. Licensure and BCLS are required, ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• Strong knowledge of nursing process and patient assessment.
• Ability to administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care following nursing process and physician orders.
• Document findings accurately and report changes to care team.
• Provide age-appropriate care and patient education.
• Administer prescribed meds and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team.
