HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, FL is seeking a dynamic Medical Surgical RN to deliver compassionate care to adults in a patient-centered model.

The role requires autonomous clinical assessment, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and ongoing education for patients and families during the hospital stay.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsabilités

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.
