About this Unit:
The 3rd Floor Orthopedic Surgical Specialty Unit is a 26 bed adult Medical/Surgical unit focuses on patients with an orthopedic diagnosis and was completed in the Fall of 2021. Current employees have praised the balanced work environment, enjoy how the unit is team-oriented and highly effective, as well as appreciate the diversity of experience present in the team.
Schedule: This position is 60 hours per pay period, days, 12 hour shifts (7am-7:30pm), with every third weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
A Brief Overview
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract.
