Job summary

HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland in Highland, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The RN will provide hands-on bedside care, coordinate patient care, and monitor patient status on nights with a weekend option.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care on the Medical/Surgical unit.
• Coordinate and monitor patient care with the healthcare team.
• Work on a Night shift with a Weekend option and contribute to patient safety and outcomes.
