Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) in Shelbyville, IL seeks a Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Unit. The RN provides high-quality patient care, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and supports patients and families through varying levels of illness.

This full-time night shift position offers 36 hours per week with every-other-weekend rotation and a comprehensive benefits package. A nursing degree, RN license, and BLS are required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and family communication.
• Support evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.

Education
