Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network in Hellertown is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg for night shifts. You will provide professional nursing care, assess patients, coordinate with physicians, and support a safe environment. The role requires adaptability and strong clinical skills in a busy hospital unit.

You must have a nursing degree, PA RN license, BLS certification, and computer literacy. Preferred is a BSN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in patient care.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication with physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Med Surg unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for designated patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
• Coordinate patient education throughout treatment.
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and safety, following policies.
• Utilize technology to optimize care delivery and documentation.
• Supervise and mentor new colleagues and interns as needed.
• Support unit and hospital goals through teamwork and communication.
