Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee patient care on a 4th floor nursing unit. Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, and leading clinical teams according to the Texas Nursing Practice Act.

You will educate patients and families, delegate tasks, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver safe, effective care on night shifts from 7p to 7a.

Qualifications

• RN license and Accredited nursing program graduate.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start.
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
• Experience with Epic EMR/Epic Charting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs; create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients and families, empowering them with knowledge for better healthcare decisions.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality.
• Document learning needs and outcomes; use teamwork to achieve patient care goals.
