Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital in Saint Peters, MO is seeking an RN for the Night Shift on a 43 Bed Med/Surg Unit.

This part-time role participates in the BJC RN Career Ladder, with opportunities to advance and earn increased pay as you take on higher-level duties. The position offers benefits eligibility, sign-on bonus eligibility, and the chance to provide patient-centered care, collaborate with the interprofessional team, and support safe, evidence-based nursing practices in a community

Qualifications

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, execution and evaluation of care.
• Promotes patient and family centered care and safety.
• Maintains nursing license and adheres to standards of care.

Responsabilités

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment home care.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; engages in professional development.
• Develops, implements and documents plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the team and patient/family; communicates across the continuum of care.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional needs and respects patient preferences and beliefs.
• Recognizes this is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness.

Nursing Diploma/Associate's
