Job summary

CARIN Alliance in Urbana, IL is seeking a registered nurse to provide acute care on a 35-bed Observation Unit, caring for cardiac, surgical, and behavioral health patients. You will perform initial assessments, develop and modify care plans, and carry out nursing interventions while ensuring accurate documentation.

The unit emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced environment. A valid RN license and BLS within 30 days are required, with over 1 year of nursing experience; IV insertion and telemetry

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.
• 1+ year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessments and develop/modify care plans.
• Execute nursing interventions and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Maintain patient safety, manage IV sites, and respond to changes in patient status.
