Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily care of the patient including admissions, assessments, treatments, medications, education and discharge planning.
• Develops, implements and modifies the patient care plan as indicated by patient’s conditions and responses.
• Uses multidisciplinary team strategies to resolve patient problems.
• Administer medications using barcode scanning
• Ensures all required documentation completed in ORM within Meditech for all surgical patients
• Demonstrates adequacy in EDM tracker and PCS
• Respectful and effective communication with all patient populations, physicians, and across all areas of continuum of care
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with Safe Patient Handling techniques
