Saint Luke's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess patients, develop and continuously evaluate care plans, and coordinate nursing care across licensed staff. You will educate patients and families, document care, and participate in discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, adherence to professional standards, and ongoing professional development within a supportive work environment.

Formación

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Texas RN license required.
• BLS healthcare provider certification required within 60 days of hire or transfer.
• Dialysis: ACLS/BLS as applicable within 60 days of hire.
• Behavioral Health: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient, family, and significant other responses to health problems.
• Initiate and evaluate patient care plans; reassess needs continuously.
• Recognize changing patient conditions and involve RRT promptly.
• Document all plans and care provided.
• Educate patient and family with tailored instruction and materials.
• Assign and coordinate nursing care among licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Administer and calculate medications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in planning and management of care.
• Contribute to discharge planning and patient/family instruction.
• Maintain professional standards and participate in inservices and staff meetings.

Educación
