The role involves assessing patients on admission and each shift, administering medications, documenting care, responding to requests, and educating patients and families about treatment plans and potential side effects.

Qualifications

• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and educating patients, families, and caregivers about the condition, treatment plan, and follow-up measures.
• Translate complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding by patients and families.
