Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an RN for Med Surg to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to provide comprehensive, compassionate nursing support and advocate for patients and families.

You will assess patients on admission and during shifts, document care thoroughly, administer medications, respond to requests, and educate patients and families about conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• BSN degree must be obtained within 2 years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and document care in the medical record.
