USPI Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a motivated RN Med/Surg to join our team. We have 20 private suites and 5 OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Bariatric, Orthopedic, General, Neuro/Spine, ENT, Pain, Urology.
Shift: Days
Job Summary: The Post Surgical Unit RN / MED-SURG RN is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all nursing care services for post-surgical patients in accordance with accepted standards of care. They ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care, maintain compliance with professional nursing standards, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State standards of care. The Post Surgical Unit RN responds to patients presenting to the facility with healthcare needs and provides Medical Screening Exams as delegated by the Medical Executive Committee.
