Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Grand Blanc is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg - Acute Rehab Unit on a full-time day shift. The unit focuses on rehab with a 20-bed capacity. This role involves coordinating care, administering medications, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required qualifications include an active Michigan RN license and BLS certification. A graduate of an approved RN program is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing.
• BLS Provider certification (Basic Life Support) from AHA.
• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a multi-disciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate length of stay, resource use, and quality outcomes.
• Provide patient care that respects individual rights, dignity, values, and cultural preferences.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, and self-care.
• Administer medications, IVs, and blood products according to established policies.
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with case managers to ensure appropriate referrals and discharge plans.
