Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Grand Blanc is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for Med Surg, Orthopedics, Stroke and Pulmonary on 4S. The unit is described as 45 beds; schedule includes Day shifts, Monday through Friday with every 3rd weekend, and a sign-on bonus may apply.

You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care, coordinate care plans, educate patients and families, administer medications and monitor responses to interventions across a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing within 2 months of hire date.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire date.
• Graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a multi-disciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate length of stay, resource use, and quality outcomes.
• Provide patient care that respects individual rights, dignity, values, and cultural preferences.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, and self‑care.
• Administer medications, IVs, and blood products according to established policies.
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with case managers to ensure appropriate referrals and discharge plans.
