Job summary

MercyOne Medical Group in West Des Moines, IA seeks a dedicated Acute Care Registered Nurse for a full-time, 12-hour night shift. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to support patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa.
• BLS required; ACLS for telemetry units.

• BSN preferred.

SIGN-ON BONUS UP TO $20,000 + RELOCATION BONUS!

• 0-1 years of experience: $10,000
• 1-3 years of experience: $15,000
• 3+ years of experience: $20,000

POSITION PURPOSE

The Acute Care RN provides safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients with varying levels of acuity. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; coordinating with the interdisciplinary team; and supporting patients and families throughout their care journey.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current Iowa RN license required
• American Heart Association BLS required
• ACLS required for units with telemetry monitoring
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire
• Basic computer skills
