Job summary

CHA Cambridge Hospital’s MedSurg 4 West is a 32-bed adult medical‑surgical telemetry unit. The Registered Nurse plans and delivers patient care to GI, cardiovascular and respiratory patients, guided by Nursing Standards of Care and a multidisciplinary team.

You’ll assess, implement and evaluate care while coordinating with the nurse manager on off shifts. Shift is night time (1900–0730) with a 36‑hour work week; every other weekend and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Currently MA RN license.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• 2 years Med/Surg RN experience preferred.
• Telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide patient care per Nursing Standards of Care.
• Demonstrate initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs.
• Report to designated nurse manager, clinical manager, or off shift manager.

Med Surg 4 is a 32 Bed adult medical surgical telemetry unit. Our goal is to promote and restore patients' health by collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. We provide care for a diverse patient population including GI, cardiovascular, and respiratory illnesses. We deliver care with an emphasis on assessment, education, prevention, maintenance, and restoration of health in a supportive and culturally

The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for planning and providing patient care for patients in accordance with established Nursing Standards of Care. They will demonstrate initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for the patient with complex needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to effectively manage patients by assuming full responsibility for the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of nursing care and directly reports to a designated nurse manager, clinical manager, or off shift manager.

Qualifications:

BSN preferred

Currently MA RN license

AHA BLS

2 years current Med/Surg RN experience preferred

Telemetry experience preferred
