Job description

Join to apply for the RN Med Surg 4 Part Time Nights role at CHI.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing nursing care based on the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  2. Administering medications and treatments following physician orders and nursing policies.
  3. Ensuring care standards are met, based on evidence-based practice.
  4. Performing patient assessments, analyzing problems, and determining intervention needs.
  5. Implementing or modifying care plans, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting patient and family education.
  6. Respecting patient autonomy, dignity, and rights in all care activities.
  7. Documenting assessments and interventions per hospital policies.
  8. Delegating tasks to support personnel appropriately.
  9. Supporting orientation and training of new staff and students.
  10. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Current RN license in Kentucky.
  • BLS certification.
