Formación

• RN licensure required; BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ACLS/PALS certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses the patient appropriately based on medical condition.
• Administers medications as prescribed and is knowledgeable about orders.
• Provides care suitable to patient age including basic self-care activities.
• Develops and evaluates an individualized teaching plan with family involvement.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient care.
• Assists physicians with procedures and performs technically skilled tasks.
• Addresses psychosocial needs and coordinates with social services for discharge.
• Promotes cost-effective use of supplies and prevents waste.
• Prioritizes patient care and maintains patient safety.
• Engages in lifelong learning related to nursing practice.
