Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice: Required
• CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AH policy: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing care in a safe, healing environment; provides health information to patients and treatment team.
• Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
• Delegates duties and coordinates responsibilities of the healthcare team.
