Atlas MedStaff is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse specializing in neuro procedures for a 13-week contract in St. Louis, MO. Night shifts are 12 hours (19:00–07:30) with a dedicated team focused on neuro pre- and post-operative care.

You will manage patients with lumbar drains and surgical drains, ensuring comfort and safety while collaborating with a specialized team in a Magnet & Teaching Hospital setting, with opportunities to expand neuro nursing skills.

Join a renowned neuroscience unit as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse specializing in neuro procedures. This 13-week contract places you on 12-hour night shifts working in a dedicated team focused on pre- and post-operative cranial and spinal surgery patients. You’ll manage patients with lumbar drains and surgical drains, ensuring their comfort and safety without handling titratable drips (except Heparin). The role offers a chance to hone your neuro nursing skills in a Magnet & Teaching Hospital setting, with a focus on continuous patient monitoring and collaboration with a specialized team. Flexibility within scope allows for floating as needed, while the unique neuro-centric environment promises experiences beyond standard med-surg nursing.
