Qualifications

The nurse will manage patient assignments based on workload and acuity, ensuring high-quality care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The position supports a positive workplace culture with shared decision-making and committee involvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to Medical/Surgical, Swing Bed, and PCU patients according to their level of acuity.
• Manage patient assignments with ratios of 1:5 for Med/Surg, 1:5-6 for Swing Bed, and 1:3-4 for PCU depending on patient needs, including drip management.
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in unit committees and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to maintain patient safety and quality standards.

Required Skills & Certifications

Special Considerations

• Night shift position from 7 PM to 7 AM.
