This 13-week travel assignment places you in a Med/Surg unit featuring 28 beds at a busy hospital in Federal Way, WA. You’ll be working 12-hour day shifts from 06:00 to 18:30, caring for general medical patients with conditions like sepsis, COPD, bowel obstructions, and CHF. Your role involves titrating drips such as insulin and heparin, reading telemetry strips (via centralized AZ monitors), and collaborating with CNAs. You may be asked to float to other facilities in Region I, with an additional $20 per hour for such assignments. This position is ideal for a nurse with 2+ years of experience, current WA licensure, BLS certification, and familiarity with common titrations and telemetry interpretation. No charge nurse or nurse aide supervision is required, but flexibility and adaptability across multiple hospital sites are essential.
