Job summary

River Oaks Healthcare Center, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking an RN MDS Nurse / RAC to lead MDS assessments and coordinate the RAI process. The role reports to the Executive Director and focuses on delivering compliant, high-quality resident care and accurate reimbursement.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an active RN license in the state of employment and prefers 3 years of long-term care experience with MDS/RAI exposure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in the state employed.
• Three years of experience in a long term care environment preferred.
• Experience with the MDS/RAI process and/or case management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and timely completion of MDS assessments and coordinate the RAI process.
• Provide Medicare, Medicaid (case mix), and managed care oversight to ensure appropriate clinical services and reimbursement.
• Ensure facility compliance with federal and state regulations and CommuniCare guidelines.
• Act as a key member of the management team to help achieve quality outcomes.

Provides Medicare, Medicaid (case mix), and managed care oversight to ensure appropriate clinical services are provided and appropriate reimbursement is received for each resident. This includes ensuring that the centers are in compliance with federal and state regulations as well as the CommuniCare Family of Companies’ guidelines and policies and procedures.
