Job summary

Cambridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an RN MDS Coordinator to lead accurate MDS assessments and ensure timely submissions in a compliant environment. The role requires RN licensure in New Jersey and prior MDS/RAI experience within long-term care.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical assessment skills with attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and reimbursement systems.
• Experience with MDS/RAI processes and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all MDS assessments.
• Verify compliance with federal and state regulations in MDS documentation.
• Supervise MDS data entry, validation, and transmission.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and validation issues.
• Prepare MDS-related reports for the DON and leadership.
• Assist with audits and regulatory reviews and Medicare/Medicaid requirements.
• Stay current on changes to Medicare, Medicaid, and MDS regulations.
