Job summary

Wexford Senior Care Center in Cadillac, MI seeks an experienced MDS Coordinator RN to lead timely MDS/RAI processes and ensure regulatory compliance. You will coordinate interdisciplinary plans and accurately document in the EMR, while managing insurance authorizations and reviews. Strong clinical experience and Michigan RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an associate's or bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of related nursing or MDS coordination experience.
• Current RN license in Michigan; CPR-BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the RAI process and ensure timely MDS CAAs and interdisciplinary care plans.
• Complete the Resident Assessment Instrument accurately and on time.
• Enter RAI data into the electronic record-keeping system.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal RAI rules and regulations.
• Refer inaccurate or incomplete documentation to the Administrator and follow through for timely compliance.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and conduct concurrent reviews via insurance portals.
