Your Role on the Team

Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Medical-Surgical-Telemetry, the Clinical Manager oversees nursing personnel, ensuring high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include developing systems for evaluating clinical competency, updating standards and policies, consulting on complex nursing issues, providing continuing education, mentoring staff, and engaging in Performance Improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• One year in a charge/administrative role
• Three years' nursing experience in the relevant area
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently and establish effective relationships across the health system

Preferred Qualifications

• ANA Medical Surgical Certification
• Basic arrhythmia course completion or equivalent
• ONS Chemotherapy Administration Certification
• Visual and auditory acuity for job responsibilities
• Transportation for external meetings
• Ambulatory care experience
• Advanced degree or formal management education
• Prior supervisory or healthcare management experience
• Knowledge of university and medical center policies and procedures
