Job summary

Private Medical in San Francisco's Laurel Heights practice seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead the nursing team. This role offers a patient-centered, relationship-driven model of care and a pathway to advance clinical excellence while collaborating with physicians and site leadership.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license, current BLS, and California driver’s license.
• Minimum of three years of management experience and leading large teams.
• Minimum of five years of nursing experience with leadership responsibilities.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare technology.
• Ability to travel regularly to assigned clinical sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a nursing team of RNs, MAs, LVNs and other staff.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to best practices across locations.
• Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with site leadership and HR to optimize staffing and efficiency.
• Monitor data, drive quality improvements, and report on KPIs.
• Manage budgets and ensure compliant operational practices.
