Job summary

Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Manager for the Cardiac Cath Lab to oversee daily operations in the Cardiovascular Services Department. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring patient care across age groups, and meeting established competencies within the introductory period.

Minimum education includes RN licensure in Texas and Cath Lab experience; preferred is a Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of management experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and/or accredited school of radiology
• Current Texas State RN license; RCIS/ARRT/ACVT/LMRT as applicable
• BLS within hire; ACLS within 60 days of hire
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in related field; 2+ years in Cardiac Cath Lab; 1 year management experience

Responsibilities

• Plans for and supervises the daily activities of Cardiovascular Services Department.
• Works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics.
• Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
