Job summary

LewisGale Hospital Alleghany in Low Moor, Virginia, seeks an RN Manager Behavioral Health to lead clinical services, assess staffing needs, and implement programs that ensure safe, compassionate patient care 24/7.

You will supervise clinical personnel, participate in recruitment, develop policies, manage budgets with the program director, and coordinate quality initiatives with regulatory bodies while collaborating with administration and medical staff.

Qualifications

• Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating all phases of the clinical service provided to the program.
• Oversees day-to-day operations in relation to Behavioral Health Clinical Services.
• Maintains a competent clinical staff through hiring qualified candidates, providing orientation, ongoing verification of competencies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and attends meetings.
• Plans, coordinates, manages and monitors Budgets for Behavioral Health Clinical Services with the program director.
• Coordinates compliance activities for JCAHO, DBHBS, HCFA and other regulatory agencies.
• Represents Behavioral Health Services on hospital and market committees and maintains relationships with departments and referral sources.
• Provides administrative oversight for Expressive Therapy Program, social work, and nursing in collaboration with the program director.
