Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK seeks an RN Manager, Case Management, for day shift, full-time leadership in care management to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, oversee Utilization Management, drive performance improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance across the department.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).
• Leadership experience in a hospital or case management setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in treatment planning with physician and related medical disciplines to provide high-quality care in the least restrictive environment; daily monitoring of Care Management Staff and review of admissions, continued stay, and discharge criteria.
• Chairs weekly Interdisciplinary Outlier Committee and communicates with physicians, Case Management Director, and Administration about patient needs.
• Manages Utilization Management Program by coordinating Utilization Plan changes with Medical Director and administration; co-chairs Utilization Management Committee; collects and reports Performance Improvement data.
• Ensures department staff are hired, trained, evaluated for performance and competency, and subject to disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed.
• Applies state, federal, and other regulatory agency functions and standards.
• Reports to the assigned leader.
• Addresses physical demands and respiratory fit test requirements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participates in treatment planning with physician and related medical disciplines to provide the highest quality of care in the least restrictive environment, including daily monitoring of Care Management Staff, reviewing patients and progress including admission, continued stay, and discharge criteria. Chairs weekly Interdisciplinary Outlier Committee, and communicates with physicians, Case Management Director, and Administration about patient needs.
• Manages hospital Utilization Management Program by coordinating Utilization Plan changes with Medical Director and administration, co-chairing Utilization Management Committee, and collecting and reporting Performance Improvement data to Performance Improvement Committee and Utilization Management Committee.
• Ensures department staff are managed effectively, including hiring, training, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed.
• Applies state, federal, and other regulatory agencies functions and standards.
• Reports to the assigned leader.

Qualifications

• RN Oklahoma license or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Previous work experience in hospital case management preferred.
• Previous work experience utilizing nationally recognized Level of Care Criteria Sets preferred.
• Diabetic Educator certification preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).
