MGA Healthcare Texas LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide skilled home health care and document care plans under physician orders.
The role requires delivering nursing interventions, maintaining aseptic technique, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians, case managers and the care team.
Ideal candidates will have valid licensure, CPR, TB test, ability to travel to patient homes, and a commitment to professional, compassionate patient care.
Registered Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing and documenting skilled nursing care and reports to Case Managers and Clinical Nurse Supervisor. In collaboration with the MGA personnel, RN will render skilled nursing care in accordance with the care developed for each individual patient and in accordance with Physician’s orders.
The work environment is highly variable, as care is generally provided in private homes. Lighting, acoustics, air quality, temperature and environment hazards are not predictable. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, household pets/animals, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is required to travel frequently to complete home health visits.
