Job summary

Sanford Luverne Medical Center in Luverne, MN is hiring a registered nurse (RN) to deliver high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced, family‑oriented hospital setting. You will collaborate with Physicians, LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians across Medical/Surgical, ER, and OB units, with 8‑hour shifts and rotating weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidates have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a current RN license. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multi-state licensure acceptable if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various other nursing interventions
• Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care
• Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up along the continuum of care
• Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise

Come join our friendly staff and family-focused work environment at Sanford Luverne. Luverne RN's provide patient care at our Critical Access Hospital in our Medical/Surgical, ER, and OB units. You will work alongside Physicians, LPN's, and Patient Care Technicians. This position will work 8 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
