This job acts as a leader in patient care, using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. It involves delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members; ensuring quality patient outcomes; exhibiting sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity; and supporting the department’s strategic goals. The nurse demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for their practice and supports the company's philosophy of nursing.
