Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Peoria, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to support inpatient and emergency department units. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED delivers care at the highest licensure level, collaborates with providers and care teams, and coordinates across the continuum to promote wellness.

The role requires current RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan and BLS. BSN preferred; EMR and Microsoft Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure by State Board (Illinois or Michigan).
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient/ED nursing care with 24/7 hospital coverage.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary care team and providers.
• Support patients and families, mentoring assigned team members.

Pay range for this position is $34.25-51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Shift Differentials

• 3rd shift - $4.00/hour
• Weekends - $3.25/hour

$20,000 Sign-On Bonus

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
• Licensure/Certification: Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
