Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Long Term Acute Care for a nursing job in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. This full-time, day-shift role offers a 7a-7p schedule with hourly pay of $39.38-$53.00, plus weekend shift differentials and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Free parking is provided for on-site work at Select Specialty Hospital in McKeesport. Essential responsibilities include admissions/transfers, ongoing patient assessments, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the care

Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification at hire
• ACLS within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed accurately
• Competence in rapid response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned
