Job summary

Cura Health is seeking a caring Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our senior community in Monticello, KY. This is a full-time or part-time role with an every other weekend schedule, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to residents.

You will provide direct nursing care, monitor health status, administer medications, document care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and lead on the floor with NAR staff to ensure safety and comfort for residents and

Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliability to work every other weekend as required.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for residents on the floor—offering support, education, medications, and treatments.
• Monitor and assess residents’ health status, vital signs, and overall condition, and report changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Accurately document care provided and keep records complete and up to date.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support continuity of care.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents, families, and visitors.
• Lead and empower NAR staff on the floor by supporting residents with their needs and ADLs as shift leader.
