Job summary

North Capitol Nursing & Rehabilitation in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Vent Unit RN or LPN for full-time day, evening, and night shifts. Prior vent/ tracheostomy experience is strongly preferred.

As a Registered Nurse, you will develop meaningful relationships with residents and use your nursing skills to promote their physical and psychosocial well‑being. You will assess and document resident changes, collaborate with the care team, and uphold CARE values in delivering compassionate geriatric

Qualifications

• Current Indiana Registered Nurse license or multi-state license as applicable.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrates CARE values to residents, families, customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to ventilator-dependent or tracheostomy residents; build meaningful relationships.
• Promote physical and psychosocial well-being of residents; ensure safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with nursing and facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Lead and support the care team to achieve excellent resident outcomes.

Previous experience caring for ventilator-dependent or tracheostomy residents strongly preferred
