Job summary

Advanced Care Center is seeking an RN/LPN Unit Manager in Florida to lead our nursing staff with compassion and dedication. The ideal candidate will supervise day-to-day activities, participate in hiring, and maintain consistent practices while communicating clear performance expectations to the team.

Must hold a valid Florida RN/LPN license with geriatrics experience and be able to relate positively to patients and families, working cooperatively with others to accomplish the unit's goals.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse RN/LPN in good standing and licensed by Florida.
• Clinical experience or specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
• Must be able to relate positively and favorably to our customers and families and to work cooperatively with others.
• Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supervision of personnel.
• Participate as requested in the interviewing and hiring of nursing personnel.
• Maintaining consistent practices.
• Effectively communicates performance expectations.
• Assigning specific duties for customers' care, work hours, breaks, and meal periods for nursing personnel on unit.
• Attend and participate in department meetings.
