We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (RN/LPN) Unit Manager.

Job Description:

Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise daily nursing activities performed by nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local standards and regulations, and maintaining high-quality care as directed by the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with healthcare team members.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications and recordkeeping, reporting adverse reactions.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Record medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective actions for adverse symptoms.
• Provide bedside care, including pre- and post-surgery patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Accurately record all care information in the appropriate format and timely manner.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Willingness to make a difference
• First aid and CPR certification
• Current RN license in Virginia
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
• Current BLS certification
